I have a old high school buddy of mine who brought this concept to my attention. It seems whenever he and his wife find themselves in some difficulty or the things around them appear to be overcoming them, one of them would remind the other to, "Play the movie." It is a reference they have used from time to time to remind each other what it is like to be currently watching a movie that they have already seen and know how it will end. What a great takeaway for life. No matter what our circumstances happen to be that surrounds us,
God is in control of our ultimate destiny. If he is for us, the we can rest in the peace of his love knowing that God will ultimately work all things to our good.
" For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have over come the world.” John 16:33
"And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
He who has the Son has life; he would does not have the Son of God does not have
life." 1 John 5:11-12
"The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: 'I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.'" Jeremiah,
We are just passing our way through this life. Play the movie!

"Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live
a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as
a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. " Ephesians 5:1-2
Remember, when things or people get you down, play the movie.
In his love, see you tomorrow...
